My Durban: Mike Procter, Cricket legend

The celebrated cricket all-rounder Mike Procter was born in Durban, the largest city of South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, in 1946. While Durban is known as Surf City and boasts South Africa’s top surfing spots, the young Mike was drawn to the game of willow on leather. (more…)

This narrow wine region of eastern France, located south-east of Paris, has four contiguous districts (Chablis, Côte d’Or, Côte Chalonnaise, and Mâconnais) and Beaujolais some 70 miles south of the others.
