I’m a ‘foodie’ who began cooking with my mother aged nine and bought my first cook book aged 19. Since then I have been on an amazing journey around the world of food.
My travels now encompass devising recipes, creating dishes, eating out, wine tasting and more. This food journey has taken my across London, Rome, Paris and through to Istanbul, then across to Cape Town, Dubai and Shanghai before returning back to my home in Dar-es-Salaam on the Swahili Coast.
I will share reviews of my favourite eateries, where to find fantastic ingredients plus cooking tips. You will also be able to try my step-by-step recipes that recreate the dishes and flavours of the destinations encountered on my food journey.
