Our readers in Tanzania have the chance to mark South Africa’s Women’s Day with a special breakfast to support great causes.
Women’s Day in South Africa is an annual public holiday on 9 August that was established to pay homage to the women of the nation. It is a special day to remember the mothers, the wives, the sisters and the daughters who fought tirelessly against the Apartheid government. Today women from all races in the country make outstanding contributions at local, regional and national levels. The SA community in Dar es Salaam are to be commended by marking this special day with an event that will help local causes.
